Berry Springs water commitment
Beetaloo Digital will not use water from Berry Springs or the Berry Springs Dolostone Aquifer. The project will not seek an allocation from that aquifer.
Water demand and cooling
  No final water source or cooling system has been selected
Beetaloo Digital is prioritising water efficiency
Investigations and design will focus on closed-loop liquid cooling which can recirculate coolant and reduce water used for cooling compared with evaporative systems.
Water use will be minimised and the total demand will depend on the final equipment, climate design and scale of each stage
Before any approval application, Beetaloo Digital will publish the expected annual and peak water demand for each stage, the proposed source, the required licenses and infrastructure and how supply would perform through the wet and dry seasons
