Beetaloo Digital is testing a proposal for a staged data centre and energy precinct on 185 hectares of Crown land near the junction of Jenkins Road and Finn Road at Weddell. The project is at the feasibility stage. It has not been approved.

The proposed site is about 30 kilometres south of Darwin, 18 kilometres from Palmerston, 8 kilometres from Berry Springs and 8 kilometres from the Noonamah Tavern. Work now involves technical and environmental studies, discussions with the community and investment decisions.
